Katie McCaskey is the Communications Manager, Media & PR for the Federation of American Scientists. Her media career includes time in Los Angeles, New York City, and rural Staunton, Virginia before arrival in Washington, D.C.. She is passionate about how science, emerging technology, and creative ideas can change the world. She has an M.S. from New York University, a B.A. from Purdue University, and a well-worn library card.
